Established in 2011 the workshop is the backbone of Windmill Wheels. We offer high-end servicing by highly skilled, qualified mechanics using the right tooling and resources to hand.

Whether you’ve purchased your bike from Windmill Wheels or haven’t we will look after your bike and service it to the highest level. We build and service bikes with the latest group-sets and wheel-sets and know how they should be serviced and looked after. Being wheel specialists we can also custom build you a high end pair of carbon wheels or your traditional 32 spoke training wheels.

For the Campagnolo fans we are you local Pro-Shop. We are here for the shifter rebuilds, CULT and USB bearing servicing, full drivetrain set ups and everything in between. We hold good stock of Campagnolo Spares too.

Please call in advance to book your bike in for a service. We can carry out smaller jobs as-well, maybe you just need a gear tune or need a new part fitted, we charge at an hourly rate.

Full Service

£145-£185 (quoted on arrival)

  • Frame, Forks and wheels cleaned and inspected for damage

  • Seatpost removed, cleaned and reinstalled with correct grease

  • Headset Serviced if creaking or bearings worn (Full integrated cabling systems may be subject to additional charges)

  • Steerings Controls checked, aligned and headset preloaded

  • Bar tape neated or replaced

  • Pedals removed,greased and reinstalled

  • Drivetrain checked for wear and parts replaced if worn

  • Degrease and re-lube of chain, chainrings, cassette and pulleys using smart washer and quality lubes from Morgan Blue. Silca wax can be applied for additional £10

  • Bottom Bracket serviced or replaced if worn

  • Hubs adjusted or bearings replaced if worn. Freehub re greased/lubed for efficiency. (+£20 if Chris king rear hub and needs full hub service)

  • Wheels trued and tensioned

  • Tyres checked for wear and pressures set. (Tubless tyre sealant replacement extra £30 or £5 for Orange Seal top up)

  • Hanger aligned, Gears reset and adjusted correctly, cables replaced if 2 years old or need to improve shifting quality

  • Brakes checked and adjusted. Brake pads replaced if worn. If hydraulic will be bled if needed.

  • Final Full bolt Check/Torque and Test ride Any Parts fitted will be at additional cost
